Patient stories.

In their words. Real patients, with permission. Names shortened, outcomes as they described them. Reviews are on Google and Trustpilot too.

Back on the bike in six weeks

Six sessions with Tom and I was back on my bike. He explained every exercise and why it mattered.

I put my back out lifting a bike onto a rack and could not stand straight for a week. My GP said rest. Tom said the opposite, gently.

Six sessions, a few exercises I actually did, and a written plan I kept on the fridge. Week six I cycled to the appointment.

Looked after, not processed

Dr Halden set up my reviews so I never miss one. I feel looked after, not processed.

I have had type 2 diabetes for nine years and used to get a text every so often telling me to book something. At Halden, Dr Halden owns my reviews. She books the next one before I leave.

My HbA1c is down two points in a year. I did not do anything heroic, I just stopped missing appointments.

Seen the same day

Same-day appointment for my son on a Friday afternoon. That is why we stay.

My son spiked a temperature on a Friday afternoon. I rang at two, we were seen at half past three, and Dr Okafor showed me what to watch for overnight.

That is why we stay. It is not the building or the coffee. It is being seen.

Understanding the whole leg

I came in for a knee and left understanding my whole leg.

I came in for a sore knee and Sara spent the first twenty minutes looking at my hips and ankles. It turned out the knee was the messenger.

Ten weeks later I ran a 10k. Slowly. But I ran it.
